   Dat lijkt me wat te weinig een overname koers tussen de €54 en €65, niet echt realistisch m.i.
   €100 euro zou een marktwaarde van 4,5 miljard betekenen, dat komt denk ik meer in de buurt.
   Voorlopig zie ik nog geen overname en de markt ook niet gezien het koersnivo.

   Which brings us back to what Gilead Sciences is doing to fill out its pipeline. It has entered into a few collaboration deals in recent years. The largest is with Galapagos (NASDAQ:GLPG) which seems to be moving along quite nicely. Their design for a Phase III trial around filgotinib in patients with rheumatoid arthritis was just accepted in the United States and Europe, and dosing for those trials should commence in the third quarter.
   
   This seems to be a much lower risk approach to building out Gilead’s pipeline in new areas. With some $15 billion in annual free cash flow, the company can certainly do large number of these transactions to move into different disease areas, while developing other parts of its pipeline such as in NASH where it has four ongoing Phase II trials. It also made a small acquisition in that space earlier this year.
