    AMSTERDAM (AFN) - Gemalto heeft zijn omzet in de tweede helft van 2014 weer zien groeien. Dat voorspellen analisten in een vooruitblik op de cijfers die de digitaal beveiliger donderdag voorbeurs presenteert.

    De analisten voorzien in doorsnee een omzet van 1,4 miljard euro over de laatste zes maanden van 2014. Dat zou bijna 10 procent meer zijn dan een jaar eerder. In de eerste helft van het jaar stagneerde de omzet nog, vooral door negatieve wisselkoerseffecten. Op basis van constante wisselkoersen bedroeg de groei toen 5 procent.

    Gemalto mikt voor heel 2014 op een dubbelcijferige groei van de operationele winst. Daarnaast voorspelde het bedrijf zelf ook een versnelling van de omzetgroei in de tweede helft van het jaar, tegen constante wisselkoersen.

    Rabobank

    Analist Hans Slob van Rabobank verwacht dat Gemalto het doel voor de operationele winst (ebita) in 2014 heeft gehaald. Ook hij voorziet een versnelling van de omzetgroei in de tweede helft van het jaar. Daarbij werd volgens hem een plus van 9 procent gerealiseerd in het vierde kwartaal.

    Door Bloomberg gepolste analisten voorzien voor heel 2014 een omzetgroei van 5 procent, tot 2,5 miljard euro. De nettowinst zakte naar verwachting met bijna 8 procent naar 291 miljoen euro.

    Daggrafiek had ik me anders voorgesteld. Knap dat een analist (de heer Slob) tot op de procent een omzetgroei kan voorspellen, terwijl hij net zo weinig info heeft als wij..

    AMSTERDAM (AFN) - De autonome omzetgroei van digitaal beveiliger Gemalto gaat langzamer dan waar analisten van Rabobank rekening mee hielden. Dat constateerden de marktvorsers donderdag na publicatie van de jaarcijfers.

    De autonome omzetgroei van Gemalto bedroeg in het vierde kwartaal 4 procent, waar Rabo uitging van 9 procent in de laatste drie maanden van het jaar. Vooral bij Payments & Identity viel de groei van de opbrengsten tegen, de 6 procent was duidelijk minder dan de 14 procent waar de bank op rekende.

    Ook ING wees op de omzetontwikkeling, en merkte op dat de voorspelde versnelling ten opzichte van het eerste kwartaal niet is uitgekomen. Dat maakt de jaarcijfers aan de zwakke kant, aldus analist Marc Zwartsenburg.

    Rabo hanteert voor Gemalto een hold-advies terwijl ING het fonds op buy heeft staan. Het aandeel noteerde omstreeks 9.45 uur 2,1 procent lager op 70,70 euro.

    Even positief afsluiten
    Ik ben voor korte termijn best positief op Gemalto. Dit aandeel zit in een groei sector en er staat nog een koopsignaal. GTO is de beste? Als we het over Ferrari’s hebben dan is een GTO wat mij betreft de beste, maar als we het over aandelen hebben was GTO (=Gemalto) niet de beste.
    Langere termijn is het grafisch nog steeds niet een plaatje waar u vrolijk van wordt. Het kan best een grote hoofd-schouder worden. Maar voorlopig een leuk long met een stoploss.
