   Ik heb me er op ingelezen, heb er een kleine positie in en ben van plan er verder positie in uit te bouwen.
   Alles dat ik lees is halleluja (zoals je eigenlijk bij iedere mining corp leest) ...
   
   Helaas zit ik nog niet zo lang in de goldmining en heb dus geen weet van eventuele negatieve berichtgeving uit het verleden of attentie punten.
   
   Can somebody help me ?

   één van de laagste cash cost in de industry.
   
   en mijnen in china! ;-)
   
   het is ietsje bestendiger tegen sentiment dan andere mayors.
   
   ik heb er veel mee getrade en veel plezier aan gehad.
   
   extreem volatiel.
   
   succes ermee.

   Het volgende vond ik voor je over Eldorado:

   Met name onderin het artikel noemt Willem Middelkoop 2 koopwaardige fondsen van toen: Eldorado en Exeter.
   
   Zelf heb ik gekozen voor Exeter, maar zo'n superbelegger ben nu ook weer niet.

   Ik heb nog steeds contact met ze. Eens per maand mag ik ze mailen. Ze erkennen mijn rechten wel, maar krijgen nog steeds geen warrants toebedeeld voor mij.
   
   Inmiddels heeft mijn contactpersoon ook zijn leidinggevende erbij gehaald. Ik krijg wel het idee dat het goed gaat komen, maar wanneer??

   Eldorado Gold seeks $877M compensation from Greece for permit delays

   Eldorado Gold (EGO -1.7%) says it will seek €750M in compensation (~$877M) from Greece for damages suffered due to delays in the issuance of permits for its Skouries project.
   
   EGO filed a new technical report for the project earlier this year which it said significantly reduces the development's environmental footprint, and then was favored by an arbitration panel which ruled its technical plan to build a metallurgy plant to process concentrate mined from its Skouries and Olympias gold project was valid, but the company has still not received the necessary permits to start construction.
   
   EGO President and CEO George Burns says the company's application "represents a good-faith attempt to resolve the matter with the Greek state as it relates to costs incurred resulting from permit delays to our Skouries project... We hope that this matter can be resolved in an amicable manner without needing to go down the route of arbitration."

   Summary
   I explain why is Eldorado down 90% over the last 5 years and down 50% year to date.
   
   The value of its assets is not questionable, but EGO's financial structure is, which consequently affects its potential.
   
   The Greek issue, Kisladag and the Lamaque flop are just a few mistakes on the management's track record.
   
   However, if gold prices rise, they will be deemed genius. That is how things work.
   
   When a stock falls 50% in less than a year and 90% over the last 5, many wonder what is going on. It is hard to grasp how can something change that fast, but that is how things work when it comes to stocks, especially gold mining companies. Eldorado gold (EGO) didn't change much as a company, it still owns the same assets as a year ago, but even subtle changes, can have a significant effect on the stock price.
