   Het is historisch zo dat het idee van combinatie therapie uit de onkologie, vooral door de enorme vorderingen in het genezen van 'childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia' komt en toegepast werd op HIV/AIDS en niet andersom.

   Adherex And SIOPEL Report Launch Of Phase III Trial Of Sodium Thiosulfate In Children With Hepatoblastoma:
   Adherex Technologies Inc. (ADH | charts | news | PowerRating) and its collaborative partner, the International Childhood Liver Tumour Strategy Group or SIOPEL on Tuesday revealed that the planned Phase III trial of sodium thiosulfate or STS in children with hepatoblastoma has opened for patient enrollment in the United Kingdom.
   According to the company, the multi-center, prospective randomized Phase III clinical trial is expected to enroll about 100 evaluable children with hepatoblastoma, an orphan disease, being treated with cisplatin.
