(RTTNews) - Monday, ABN AMRO Holding NV (ABN) and Dutch healthcare and social work pension fund PGGM revealed that they have entered a partnership whereby the two parties would share part of the risk related to ABN AMRO's loan portfolio. The company said the joint venture is a reflection of ABN AMRO's strategy to optimise its use of capital while PGGM would gain access to an asset class that is efficient from a risk-return perspective and has the additional benefit that it further diversifies PGGM's asset allocation.
Earlier, on 8 December a first deal was executed under the partnership. This transaction is a private version of the recent public Amstel 2006 asset securitization that is tailor-made to match PGGM's requirements, the company noted.

Een positief verhaal, Abn weet risico's te spreiden. Waarom informeert de Nederlandse pers ons hier niet over ???
