    Any paper rated BBB is becoming unsalable. We are starting to see capital even pick up high-rated corporate debt while shunning away from emerging market and local debt. So be on guard for we may be in a real Phase Transition in bonds and to accomplish that we may see really extreme levels in equities on the downside. This may not be 8000 points on the Dow as was the case from 2007 to 2009, but it could be 5000. If this week’s low gives way and we close August BELOW 15555, look out below. We need to wipe out the TV pundits.

    We will update you on this development, but keep in mind that a break to new lows opens the pattern to the extreme.

    In the case of Royal Dutch Shell PLC’s agreement to buy BG Group PLC, the year’s largest announced deal, the spread widened to 13.7% Friday from 11.4% a week earlier. That is the widest since the deal was announced in April, as investors fret over the possibility that plummeting oil prices could cause Shell to walk away. The oil-and-gas giant has said it is committed to the takeover, which it says makes sense at virtually any oil price

    Wednesday’s acquisition boosts Shell’s proved oil and gas reserves by 25% and adds new massive LNG and oil projects in waters offshore of Australia and Brazil. That is an additional 3.25 billion barrels of oil equivalent on top of Shell’s approximately 13 billion barrels of reserves at the end of 2014. This is no small beer.

    Another way to look at it is that Shell is paying about $21.50 per barrel of oil equivalent. And that is per barrel of proved reserves, not possible or probable reserves

    Heel impliciet kan je stellen dat ze $50 kosten maken om dat spul op te pompen.
    Ze hebben $70 pb minimaal nodig, ze kopen dat BG op equi $21,50, verschil kleine $50 pb.
