   Het management van arcelormittal weet wel wat het moet doen als ze weten dat de resultaten nog steeds positief zijn gaan ze zeker niet stoppen met inkopen van eigen aandelen, het scheelt al snel enkele tientallen miljoenen als ze aan 21+ kunnen inkopen dan aan 24+.
   
   Daarmee zeg ik niet dat het management altijd de beste beslissingen heeft genomen in het verleden zoals Ilva maar ze hebben ook een zeer goede beslissing genomen om Esser steel indertijd over te nemen samen met Nippon Steel in India, die overname gaat arcelormittal nog dubbel en dik verdienen, ook de beslissing van arcelormittal Kazachstan te verkopen is mijn inziens een goede zet geweest.
   
   Focus op de vier kernmarkten : EU/USMCA/India en Brazilië.

    Goed nieuws voor de toekomstige staalprijzen in Brazilië en lokaal meer afzet.
    
    Brazilian steelmaker CSN is expected to increase prices for some of its products weeks after the government announced new tariffs on imported steel.
    
    The company plans to raise prices for hot-rolled coil (HRC) by 7.5pc starting on 1 July and by 5pc to other products such as cold-rolled coil (CRC), three sources familiar with the matter told Argus, citing information from CSN to some of its clients.
    
    The move comes days after Brazil's government announced the rules for new tariffs on imported steel aimed at protecting domestic producers.

    Mexico union strike at ArcelorMittal plant halting 300K tons of steel production

    A workers' blockade at ArcelorMittal's (NYSE:MT) steelmaking site in Mexico's Michoacan state since the end of May has now held up production of an estimated 300K metric tons of steel, the company told Reuters on Monday.
    
    Workers affiliated with the mining union have been protesting since May 25 against the annual profit distribution to employees decided by ArcelorMittal (MT) for 2023.
    
    The company told Reuters that labor authorities have not endorsed the strike, which it said had begun before the period for conciliation talks had ended.
    
    Mexico's Canacero steel chamber asked the protesters to "rectify their attitude and respect the channels and procedures provided by law to raise their demands and disagreements," and said the work stoppage had a ripple effect that affected supply chains in Mexico and the U.S.

    beste allemaal,
    het is wachten tot de grote beleggers roteren en hun winsten afromen betreffende IT aandelen , vervolgens gaan ze kijken naar achter gebleven aandelen met een intrinsiekewaarde die veel hoger ligt dan de huidige koers .
    zoals arcelor , over 2023 geven ze een waarde op van 63,60 per aandeel dus volgens warren buffet kan je er op wachten dat het aandeel stijgt .

    ODDO BHF heeft de aandelen van Arcelor Mittal donderdag opnieuw positief beoordeeld. De analisten van ODDO BHF herhaalden het advies market outperform voor de aandelen van Arcelor Mittal.
    
    Het koersdoel werd verlaagd van 37,00 naar 34,00 EUR. Dat betekent dat de analisten verwachten dat de aandelen van Arcelor Mittal met 55% kunnen stijgen vanaf de huidige koers van 21,99 EUR. Daarmee is ODDO BHF heel wat positiever dan de gemiddelde analist, die de koers van Arcelor Mittal met 37% ziet stijgen tot 30,05 EUR.
