    Relief Therapeutics' Zyesami shows meaningful benefit in survival and recovery from COVID-19

    NeuroRx and Relief Therapeutics (OTCQB:RLFTF) report 60-day results of the Phase 2b/3 trial of intravenously-administered Zyesami (aviptadil acetate) for the treatment of respiratory failure due to COVID-19.

    Zyesami met the primary endpoint for successful recovery from respiratory failure at days 28 (P = .014) and 60 (P = .013) and also demonstrated a meaningful benefit in survival (P = < .001).
    Zyesami patients had a 71% chance of successful recovery by day 28 vs. 48% in the placebo group (P = .017) and a 75% rate of successful recovery by day 60 vs. 55% in the placebo group (P = .036).
    84% of High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) patients treated at tertiary medical centers with Zyesami survived to day 60 compared with 60% of those treated with placebo (P = .007).

    On the basis of these findings, NeuroRx plans to apply immediately to the FDA for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) and to subsequently submit a New Drug Application.

    An investor conference call will be held today at 8:30 am EDT.
    NeuroRx has commenced a clinical trial of inhaled Zyesami for moderate and severe COVID-19 with the aim of preventing progression to respiratory failure.

    Sterk van vrijdag. Dat durfde ik niet. Nuja er zat ruimschoots genoeg in. Benieuwd waar ons dit heen brengt de komende tijd.

    Natuurlijk mogen we nog niet te hard van stapel lopen ook niet.. We hebben nog altijd niet de goedkeuring van FDA....
