   Alles gaat slecht op de beurs door het coronavirus. Nu moet je vooal rustig blijven, de waarde zal wel weer stijgen. Als het virus over zijn hoogtepunt is, dan is er veel kans op een opluchtingsrally.

    While I appreciate the BCART profile by CM, it is important to understand CM's background. They are a life science executive search firm. So it is possible that some of BCARTs visibility results from a number of positions they are trying to fill in the U.S. Nevertheless, this is the first time I've read a non-PR, or GenomeWeb article in the U.S. that provided an opinion on Biocartis stock. The relative lack of coverage outside of occasional mention by GHDX was part of the reason I said that BCART was largely "flying below the radar in the U.S." BCART would probably not appreciate this statement given how much time, money and effort spent on presentations. However, the fact of the matter is that RUO devices do not garner the same consideration as products that can be marketed for diagnostic use. The start of assay approvals for diagnostic use (US, Japan and elsewhere) is the BCART event I'm most anticipating in 2020. At least then we can finally see how Idylla sales performs in the diagnostic market.
    
    I added shares this morning since I feel that BCART can fair well in head to head competition in the diagnostic market.

    As much as anything, what stands out to me is what is not mentioned. BCART has a lot of shots on goal coming in the next year. For instance, the article does not mention:
    
    OncoTypeDx Breast launch in the EU in the next year and the ROW thereafter;
    Japan registration of Assays and beginning of console sales;
    China Registration and launch;
    Septicyte EU approval and US approval;
    Oncotype Prostate status (schedule for roll out to urology labs);
    Other CDx relationships not mentioned.
    
    I know the article was focused more on the US market but BCART's worldwide opportunities in the point of care marketplace has the potential to be transformational. The initial approvals will pave the way for subsequent assay approvals. The regulators will gain familiarity and confidence in the system with each subsequent submittal.
    
    I'm surprised that BCART sits a all time lows given the size of the opportunity. BCART got whacked hard even though it does not have the global supply chain risks of a lot of the US Tech sector. From what I can tell, the consoles are manufactured in Boston and the cartridges in Mechelen
    Belgium with no exposure to China. The likely China approval delays have not been built into any estimates so they are not a consideration.

    Warren Buffet zie ooit: "Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful."
    Ik heb de indruk dat er momenteel heel veel mensen fearful zijn, vandaar dat ik (een beetje) greedy ben. Only time will tell.

    Er wordt hier duidelijk weer eens aan de boom geschud. Zo te zien met succes ook. De solden zijn hier blijkbaar nog met een maand verlengd. Ik vraag me alleen af wanneer er een grotere investeerder dat ook gaat opmerken.
